Lily Pad Creek is a tumblr from Scot Devine.
It curates some creative inspiration, mainly for use at work.
Aimed at colleagues, it's open to anyone else who is interested.
The name is inspired by Vaughn Bodé's Cheech Wizard comic strips.
Lily Pad Creek is where, in one episode, our big-hatted hero went to "sit on the bank and dangle my feets in the warm, sunlit water..."
Whilst cooling his corns, Cheech was arrested and hurled in jail. He flashed the prison guards, and froze them in shock long enough to make good his escape.
Sometimes a flash - of inspiration - is all you need.
We’re pretty embracing here on Lily Pad Creek, but we want content that’s relevant to the blog.
We can’t carry any cynical, negative stuff or personally injurious or even NSFW content, I’m afraid. Don’t feel thwarted, there are other forums for that :)
So as long as guest submissions provide useful inspiration for our agency PR work, we’re into it.
